Figure Studies

I have been imagining a series of Figure Studies for many years.  I don’t draw much, so I figured out the postures by feel, by taking the pose myself and then imagining a character to go with it.   Figure Study I combines a typical yoga lotus position with a relaxing stretch of the arms behind the head.  In Study II, someone is running right out of the quilt.  I wanted Study III to have a certain insouciance, imagine a derby tipped over one eye.
